growing pains

Today, I filmed for my music video for Cole's class.  I'm using the song Everybody Dance Now and basically makes fun of dancing because no one can dance in the video.  It is going to turn out well EXCEPT as luck would have it something is wrong with the camera.  Hopefully it's the camera and not the tape because I would hate to reshoot it because I got some great footage.

Practice became a frustration test for Cameron today and for understandable reasons.  We had to hit 100 balls in a row and her partner was Andrea.  Cameron was working hard and Andrea was slacking and hitting hard shots which is something you do not want to do when trying to reach 100.  Well everyone finished in about 30 minutes and Cameron and Andrea hadn't got past 50.  I might add here that Cameron was originally my partner and we got to 57 on the second ball.  So Cameron got very upset and was crying from frustration and Andrea just laughed it off.  But she does with everything so who knows.

I also talked to coach about money for next year and he was planning on giving me my scholarship money even though I wasn't going to be here in the fall so that was exciting because I can put that money towards Italy.  Unfortunately I am still a few thousand dollars short.

It seems I have been so busy the past few weeks and it's starting to take its toll.  I haven't gotten much sleep this week but even though I am exhausted, I still can't sleep at night.  That makes me even more tired.  But I'll manage.

I also interviewed a wedding photographer yesterday.  He was super cool even though I only talked to him over the phone. He was really nice and answered all my questions in detail.  I think my people skills are starting to slowly escalate because today I talked to some people I didn't know.  One guy gave me a hug which was awkward because I don't like being touched by strangers.  I have a very large personal space bubble.  But I guess that will have to shrink as my people skills grow now because if not they will be forced to when I go overseas.
