Another Three Setter

Today is the first day of my spring break and I had a tennis match against Queens.  The bus driver took forever getting there and we arrived late.  They added a new rule this year for teams arriving late.  We lost the coin toss in singles as well as starting 0-1 in singles.  We won two of the doubles.  Ashley and I won 8-1.  

The girl I played in singles somehow improved leaps and bounds after her doubles match.  She was a different player practically.  I was down 4-1 in the first set but managed to come back to 6-5 but at 6-6, we played a tiebreaker.  I lost 7-3 in the breaker.  Coach came over and gave me some advice and I dominated the second set 6-3.  The match was already decided so I had to play a 10 point tiebreaker to determine the third set.  I won 10-4!  I apparently hit some amazing backhands because coach said a couple of them probably would have gotten past him.

This is the second third set tiebreaker I've played this season.

I am 2-0 in the conference and 3-6 overall.
